Hey everyone, We've been working away non-stop at Interactive Maps for this that contains, well, everything pretty much (they're still work in progress so bear with us). You can find the first two here:We'll have the full list of all the maps at the following location:The map currently contains the following at High resolution with multiple zoom levels. While we think we have pretty much everything covered, we're still in the process of updating the maps and eventually, our markers will all link up to more detailed information. We'd appreciate any feedback that anyone has so we can improve it further and I hope this is of use to everyone.
So noticed I haven't been using the EmuStation app and have just been accessing the game via the game itself in my collections tab. When I try to go through Emustation, the game won't even boot.
So I installed Emudeck along with PCSX2 (and a few other emulators) and have been playing through a game (Xenosaga Ep I) at what I assume is the default settings. I haven't found a way to access the emulator settings while in-game and although it's been running fine, it would be nice to use things like save states or speed-ups. How would I go about doing that, or do I have to change and run the emulator in desktop mode?
ThreadKingdom Hearts III -Re Mind- |OT| So, you have come this far and still you understand nothing.
So Marluxia's battle, got him down the final hit and then he marks me for 99 which seems to go down way too fast and I can't seem to get a single hit on him. What should I be doing there?
So i'm using Heroic Games Launcher for the first time, trying to install Cyberpunk from GOG. The installation is stuck at 100% but not completing, anything I can do here?
Does anyone from the latest batch have any updates on their tracking in the UK? Mine was shipped Wednesday and my last update was that it was on it's way to the final parcel center in the Netherlands on Wednesday night. Curious what kind of timeframe I can expect it in based on past experiences.
Hoping I'm getting my Steam Deck by the end of the month (still in Q1). People have theirs now, is there any suggested Docks, think I'll want to hook mine up to a monitor/TV a lot.
Really tempted to get this (although still playing Elden Ring at the moment) since I've loved GT since the very first game. A friend told me that apparently, you can actually buy credits with real money this time? For those of you who have played, how does this impact the campaign, is Credits a lot tougher to earn to try and entice you to spend real money because that would kill the game for me.

This is a great suggestion, and something we can work on. I do know that the vendors update their stock as the game progresses, so it'll take a while to get a full exhaustive list but we can keep on top of it and add to it as we go along.
ThreadHorizon Forbidden West |OT| Western, but without the cowboys
Hey everyone,
Since the game launched, we've been working away non-stop at an Interactive Map for this that contains, well, everything pretty much. You can find it here: (Best viewed on desktop but mobile is available too).
The map currently contains the following at High resolution with multiple zoom levels. While we think we have pretty much everything covered, we're still in the process of updating the map (such as the remaining datapoints, more screenshots/gifs for the markers) and eventually, our markers will all link up to more detailed information. We'd appreciate any feedback that anyone has so we can improve it further and I hope this is of use to everyone.
ThreadRemnant From The Ashes |OT| A New Soul Rises From The Ashes
Our review just went up, really enjoyed it and would certainly recommend it to others if you like the Soulsborne games, think it captures that feeling perfectly. A few gripes mainly being technical (PS4 Pro) but I have faith in the devs to handle them and add more content down the line.
ThreadRemnant From The Ashes |OT| A New Soul Rises From The Ashes
Any tips for the final boss, this is ridiculous on the second phase with the amount of adds. Even throwing bosses at me during it, am I missing something?
ThreadRemnant From The Ashes |OT| A New Soul Rises From The Ashes
Honestly, not too sure, it's been pretty random. Had a couple freezes on The Unclean Boss when getting hit with the spin attack. As for the blue screens, they've happened mostly in Corsus but I did have one in Rhom.
ThreadMonster Hunter: World |OT3| Generations Ahead
So do we know yet if there's any plans to do an all in one edition for digital or do we have to go physical for that? Want this game digital and there's no way i'm buying both digitally separately.
So are you expected to complete the adventure tome by the time the story takes you out of a region or do you come back? I've just left the first region (only Lv 18 or so) and I'm only at 50% completion despite doing everything up to that point.
How does co-op work here? Is there a tether or is the other player free to do what he wants? Also, how does progression work, can me and my brother play through it and progress together?
Thinking about pulling the trigger. For the people who have played it now, what's it like compared to the first game? Was a big fan of the original, story and all.
ThreadPokémon Legends: Arceus |OT| Sinnoh and The Sky Warrior
Hey guys,
Just a quick update on our maps (that you can find in the threadmarks), we've now updated it to include all of the Old Verses and all Dig Spots. Hopefully, it helps people looking for the Old Verses since I know it's been a popular request for us.

Thanks for the suggestion. Yeah, it's still work in progress and suggestions like these are welcome so we can alter it to make it easier for everyone to use.
ThreadPokémon Legends: Arceus |OT| Sinnoh and The Sky Warrior
Hi everyone,
Thought I'd share the Interactive Maps we've worked on for Arceus. We've had a team on this since launch and put a lot of hours into it so hopefully, it's useful for some people. Please see below:-
-
-
-
-
-
-
The map(s) currently contains the following:- High resolution, zoomable region images.
- All 107 Wisps & 25 Unown Locations (with screenshots and descriptions).
- All Normal, Alpha, Noble, Legendary & Mythical Pokémon Locations.
- Points of Interest such as: Camps, Fast Travels, Dungeons etc.
- Space Time Distortion Locations.
We are currently working hard to add more screenshots and Pokémon markers so please bear with us. If you click certain markers you will see screenshots and useful links to more information. Please Note: Normal Pokemon are zone-based and may have a wide spawn radius so they may not be in the exact same position. Try to look in the area around the marker and you should be able to find one. Would greatly appreciate any feedback.

Farming Velkhana now and it's been going decent so far with my Lance although I need to practice with the new moves more. What are the go to Lances people have been using this time around. I upgraded the Odogaron Lance but I hear Elemental is buffed and I could imagine an elemental lance with some of the Velkhana buffs could be useful.
ThreadMonster Hunter World: Iceborne |OT| Looking for love in Alatreon places
Lance users, what’s a good MR set to go for? Me and my brother are up to 4* MR quests and haven’t had too much problem in HR gear (kulve/teo max def) but figure I should upgrade at this point. I’m even still using my Odogaron lance.
ThreadMonster Hunter World: Iceborne |OT| Looking for love in Alatreon places
So when will I need to upgrade my set? I'm still using my Teostra/Kulve mixed set with the def maxed out and i'm in the 3* quests and not had too much problems other than barioth was a little tricky. Still using my Odogaron Lance which seems to be doing well still as well.

I can echo the comments about the review situation. We only received our review copies on launch day and we'll be giving this title the time it deserves rather than rushing out a review.

What's the difference between Special and Technical on weapons? Also, where it says available Techs, does this mean certain Techs can only be learnt with certain weapons within that category?

The map is high resolution and was created completely from scratch. It's still a work in progress and we're still verifying and adding more information, but we've done our best to make it as accurate as possible. There are a few bugs to fix (adding screenshots being one of them) but it should work fairly well.

So i've had no problem abolishing card rules throughout the game but now in Trabia all of a sudden I can't seem to pick up rules anymore to abolish those ones. Everywhere I go tells me to just play cards rather than mixing, why is this? For reference, Balamb, Dollet and FH all have slightly different rules so I should've been able to pick something up from there.

These bugged legendary contracts are really beginning to annoy me now to the point I might drop the game until it's fixed. Do a difficult encounter for our group on GM1 and its twice we've had to kill ourselves because the objective doesnt update and still cant complete it.
So i'm doing a Legendary Contract for Yarrow and it's really slow in updating the objective until eventually it stopped updating altogether and i can't progress. Is there anything I can do?
Whats the best way to hit Level 30 and getting some MW? Me and my group (3 of us) are 28 but sitting around Power Level 370, played the whole game on hard.
So still trying to hit 50 in the post game, currently at 46 and a half. Been doing co-op Graveward at Mayhem III and only getting around 36k exp a kill which is just over a quarter a bar per kill. Is this really the fastest way to hit 50? I didn't want to do Circle of Slaughter or Eridian Proving Grounds until 50.
Hmm, whats the rewards for doing the optional objectives in the Circles of Slaughter? Just had Cistern bug out on me at the very end and I did all the optional objectives, don't want to do all that again if they only give you cash/exp.
Just beat the main campaign at Level 43, what's the fastest way to reach Level 50? Also, should I wait until I hit 50 before doing Circle of Slaughter and Eridian Proving Grounds?

ThreadBloodstained: Ritual of the Night |OT| We Have Paid Our Tribute, Igavania Is Resurrected
Stuck on 99.60% map here myself, no idea what i've missed. Does the final boss room count towards the map as it's not uncovered but when you enter it, it starts the final boss.
ThreadBloodstained: Ritual of the Night |OT| We Have Paid Our Tribute, Igavania Is Resurrected
Haven't heard anyone else have this problem, the Trophies popped for all Demons/kill last boss. Left it off for a little and rebooting now to try again, hopefully it was a one off and the combination of death animation and two trophies popping did it.
ThreadBloodstained: Ritual of the Night |OT| We Have Paid Our Tribute, Igavania Is Resurrected
So just tried the final boss again, once again when I beat it and the death animation played, my PS4 Pro's fans kicked into overdrive but thankfully it didn't shut off this time somehow. Really don't think i'll do a NG+ because I don't want to beat the final boss again. Also, during the ending scenes I had sound effects from the last boss still playing in the background.
That aside, I really loved the game.

Just picked this up and having platted it twice last year, any advice for my switch playthrough? I’ve already beaten it on harder monsters/less exp.
Is it worth it to play it all in 2D? Wouldn’t mind seeing the new content in 3D though so when should I switch back if I wanna see that?
Just recently got back into the gym after a year out and I was really out of shape. Been progressing well and just switched to a 3 day a week programme focused on different body parts. I’ve been looking for something to mix in for the other 2 days of the week (can’t workout at the weekend) and was thinking of cardio, especially because I have some weight I wouldn’t mind cutting.
What’s a good routine or where can I find one for this? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, want to thank everyone for the advice, in hindsight I may have overreacted a little and i'd like to apologise for that, totally uncharactaristic of me. I tried to go about fixing the issue myself rather than just jumping on support but I've been speaking with Oscar from this thread who has been really helpful so far. ThreadKiseki/Trails Community |OT| Familiar faces~, Zemurian places—SPOILER TAGS OR DIE!
We're not on MetaCritic yet (pending an application as we're newish to reviews still) but here's mine:
I also gave it to an 8. It does some things better than CS III (which I also gave an 8) but also some things suffer, Act 2's pacing especially.
ThreadKiseki/Trails Community |OT| Familiar faces~, Zemurian places—SPOILER TAGS OR DIE!
My review is live now, I’ve played the sky series, Zero and watched a recap of Ao beforehand.
You need to play CSI and II as a minimum and then anything else after that will help you understand certain characters/areas/plot points a lot more. It is worth mentioning that Rean is like the player in that he doesn’t know these events too well either.
ThreadKiseki/Trails Community |OT| Familiar faces~, Zemurian places—SPOILER TAGS OR DIE!
So to clarify my remarks, I did everything you could do on a first playthrough but I played on Hard, not Nightmare. I spent some extra time getting some good Quartz too which may have increased the time a little. But yeah, for the most part I used Turbo mode through field areas and regular battles.
ThreadKiseki/Trails Community |OT| Familiar faces~, Zemurian places—SPOILER TAGS OR DIE!
I clocked in at around 90 hours although I did make a lot of use of Turbo Mode, especially in regular battles and running around the fields. It's a little longer than CS II, especially if you talk to every NPC at every given moment, I didn't do nearly enough of that but will do on another playthrough.
ThreadKiseki/Trails Community |OT| Familiar faces~, Zemurian places—SPOILER TAGS OR DIE!
The reviews will be all over for CS III unfortunately, it doesn;t help that NISA are saying it's a good starting point when it's anything but. I'd like to think that the people who do review are people who have played the other games in the series.
ThreadKiseki/Trails Community |OT| Familiar faces~, Zemurian places—SPOILER TAGS OR DIE!
Yeah, playing CS3 myself at the moment and you at the bare minimum need to know what happened in the Crossbell games. Some of the chapters lose a lot of impact if you've haven't played the Sky series too.
ThreadKiseki/Trails Community |OT| Familiar faces~, Zemurian places—SPOILER TAGS OR DIE!
So look ahead at the main characters in CS III, are there any standout party members? I kind of had the same go to party in CS I and II when given the choice. I heard Break Orders are stupidly powerful however.
ThreadKiseki/Trails Community |OT| Familiar faces~, Zemurian places—SPOILER TAGS OR DIE!
How long does it take to beat the two Crossbell games without speaking to all the NPCs? I want to beat them before CSIII in sept but i've only just finished CSII after putting in about 85 hours and I finished Sky 3rd last month so I want to take a break before diving in.
ThreadKiseki/Trails Community |OT| Familiar faces~, Zemurian places—SPOILER TAGS OR DIE!
So with Cold Steel II's second playthrough events, is this required for Cold Steel III? Also, on turbo mode, how quickly can I do this on a second playthrough only focusing on this stuff (not too bothered about the plat) as I still have Trails in the Sky the third and the two crossbell games to play before CSIII in Sept.

This wasn’t even on my radar but after watching the stream (great job btw guys) and may have to pick this up on steam. Exactly the kind of game I need to play after playing nothing but fire emblem for work for the last 3 weeks.
I think people's experience with Hard will vary based on how you are with action rpgs. I'm by no means an expert but I do tend to always chooser harder difficulties if possible and I didn't find Hard challenging (was still fun) outside of one or two spikes and that was mainly the AI not avoiding the aoes. I never took a healer with me, went pure damage and I was fine with healing, they literally throw healing items at you non-stop and on Hard, you can still use 9 of each in your ring menu.
Considering you can take 9 Candys, Chocolates, Honey Elixirs, group heal items (rarer though), Revival items etc, it's more than enough. I defeated the postgame boss on Hard in just over a minute i'd say.
Honestly depends how used to action rpgs you are. I wouldn't call myself an expert but I played my review on Hard and still found it fairly easy. Now that could be my part composition - Duran (Dark), Angela (Light), Kevin (Dark) but it's easy enough to heal with items considering you still have a limit of 9 per item on your ring in battle.
When you use weaknesses/technicals/critical you will damage their shield icons. Deplete one and you get a One More. Deplete all of them and you get an All Out Attack.
You have to wait a while before you can really get useful SP items. For the most part, you'll want to exit and return when you reach Checkpoints since that refills all of your HP/SP and there's no calendar system so you there's no negative impacts on it.
The game is a Persona game through and through (minus the social links) with an action combat system. Outside of the odd hacking sequence and specific event battles, you're usually up against either a handful of enemies (think 8-10) or strong bosses, in all cases, they have all of their weaknesses you would expect in Persona games and you have Persona's to use yourself (including fusion etc.). Scenario wise, there's lots of out of combat sequences before dungeons.
Ah ok, thanks guys. Guess it's a pass then until the rumored PC version. Really disappointing considering even 3 and 4 Ultimate had in-game voice chat.
Do we know yet if Rise will have in-game voice chat. Me and two friends want to get it but if we can’t voice chat without jumping through hoops, it’s a dealbreaker.
There's moments in the dungeons where she has to hack a door. During these moments you have to protect her from waves of enemies (this is the closest the game comes to being close to a musou) so you can equip her to improve her survivability.

Yep, to back up what I said in the review thread, Hard is definitely challenging for sure and if you're in any way concerned it might impact your enjoyment of the game, then go with Thomas's suggestion of Normal (he did create the game after all), the game is remarkable in every way and difficulty shouldn't impact your enjoyment the first time through in my opinion.
Having said that, I tend to always try to play on the harder difficulties and I think Moon Studios deserves respect for the Hard mode in the game. It makes battles feel a lot more involved without feeling like they;re just upping HP values or something. The game is never unfair and there's plenty of tools to shift the balance in your favor, in terms of the enemies, I only really had trouble with the bosses. They are difficult but they're so expertly designed that they all have mechanics and tells you can learn and there's loadouts you can use to give you an easier time. , what was the differences of the escape sequences on hard, the game states they're 25% more difficult but they honestly felt perfectly fine and fair to me so I was curious to see what the differences are (I plan to do a Normal playthrough soon).

One of the major differences I did notice on Hard though is that merchants are a lot more expensive but I never felt the need to grind for Spirit Light and unlocked most by the end of my playthrough with about half of the Spirit Shards upgraded. Even then, there are Shards you can equip which will increase the rate at which you obtain Spirit Shards that I never equipped.
Well, now that the embargo is up, you can find my review here:
The game is a massive improvement over the first, I really wasn't the biggest fan of the first game so this really did surprise me. The main selling point for me was the setting, thought it was much better and it felt pretty lived in. I imagine if you was a fan of the first, you'd enjoy it even more than I did.
ThreadFinal Fantasy VIII Remastered |OT| You're The Best Looking Remaster Here
Our guide for FFVIII is pretty in depth and was written this year with a low level completionist run in mind. There's a really useful interactive map on there too.
It's to the point that i'd even say that if you're buying this game for a musou, you'd probably be disappointed whereas it's a more than competent Persona 5 sequel (while never reaching the same highs).
The closest part to a typical Musou are where you have to do a hacking section with Futaba and defend her. Even then, you're not fighting the numbers you usually do in a musou. Persona fusing and weaknesses are still very much a part of the game, especially against all boss type enemies.
Having played both, Age of Calamity is a lot closer to a musou for sure, with the Zelda trimmings on top. P5S is very much a persona game with an action combat system unless we're now going to start calling any game with a action combat system a musou. I'd be pretty mad as a musou fan if I got P5S expecting that and then sitting through the really lengthy cutscenes and non battle sections that P5S has.
Our review is delayed by a day or two because we got our code late but one thing I keep seeing mentioned is how this is a musou game. This is absolutly not a Musou game, it's more a Persona 5 sequel with a few things missing like social links but with an action rpg system. Battles take place with groups of enemies instead of hundreds of them and you trigger them by ambushing single shadows like you would in the regular P5.
You also have Personas, equipment etc, really just feels like an action rpg to me.
ThreadDragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition |OT| 2D, or not 2D, that is the question (now available on PS4/XB1/PC)
I'm actually glad you mentioned that, I didn't have a chance to upload everything because I was playing around with different setups and wanted to see if anything changed in the Switch version.
I played through it twice and on my first playthrough when watching my time, I hit the 50% point at around 10 hours played. There are a lot of secrets and hidden paths however and I wasn't able to complete one quest because I went a different way after accepting it so there's some variation there too.
For the price point, if you like this style of game then i can recommend it. Even though some of the other reviews mentioned problems with the combat, I actually really enjoyed it and was one of my highlights. I also really appreciated the open nature of the game to begin with.
Our review has just gone up, really enjoyed the game and thought there's a great foundation there. The lore and world is fantastic if your care for it.

I loved this game on the PS4 so much that I platted it twice in English and played through the JP version. Really tempted to grab this but i'm so busy at the moment I don't have the time for it. Will be picking up as soon as I can though!
I actually wrote a guide for the PS4/PC version and it covers everything in the original. Obviously the Switch version adds a ton more and when I get a chance to pick it up, i'll add it on to the guide but for now, some of you might want to check it out?
As RPG Site reported, NISA are aware of the PS5 issues and are releasing a patch soon. We had to forego a review because I literally couldn’t get past chapter 3 due to the crashes. I’d say I had a good 20+ and one of which restarted the console. After seeing the reviews, I launched the game again and crashed twice within 15 mins.
Now your experience might be different to mine, I’ve spoken to some which didn’t have quite as many as me but the way it has been for me, I can’t recommend the game on PS5 in its current state which is a shame because when I can play it, I love it.
ThreadThe Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 4 |OT| In ink, black as despair
Well looking at other reviews, people seem to suggest lower times so i'm not sure how, maybe they didn't do 100%? I found Normal mode really easy and I never had to grind for anything either.
ThreadThe Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 4 |OT| In ink, black as despair
I can only go by my playthrough for our review but I played on Normal with turbo mode on outside of cutscenes. I did everything you could do (i'm only missing nightmare playthrough and a few bonding trophies) and I finished at 120 hours although I'd say 10 of those are probably idle.
ThreadAtelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy | Review Thread
Interesting, maybe it was just here in Europe then. Our distributor specifically stressed the point of no access to the PS5 version until launch and I got an error every time I tried to download it (in fact, I still do now).
ThreadAtelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy |OT| Ryza the Tomb Raider
Likewise, my review is live now. I thought the first game was just ok, nothing special but I thought Ryza 2 was better in every way. The music especially was really good!
