EtcetEraThreadThe New York Times Editorial Board endorses *both* Amy Klobuchar and Elizabeth Warren for president
ReasonUser Warned: Trolling
No. I think it's just good that the NYT endorsed two women, and that one of them is Warren, which I support.
The outrage here was basically preprogrammed since everyone (rightfully) expected the NYT to endorse a centrist and that Bernie wouldn't be endorsed. But instead of being "happy" that Warren was (also) endorsed everyone's smashing NYT because they avoided to choose a side. Which apparently you have to do in 2020 if you don't want to be called Nazi scumbags (sic!).
EtcetEraThreadPolitico: AOC’s Sanders Endorsement Might Change the Democratic Party - Even if Bernie won’t be with us forever, his socialist movement will be.
ReasonUser Warned: trolling
That "Bernie or bust" attitude of socialists like AOC, saying that even a progressive candidate like Warren should not be trusted, is a major disservice for the party, the only one who will profit from this next year owns a couple of Golf resorts.

Out of curiosity, when Trump or his followers claim “all Mexicans are rapists or drug dealers”, you think they actually refer to “all” Mexicans or would you call such an assessment hyperbolic as well?
But seriously, you know damn well that unlike yourself some people here are not capable of seeing the nuances here, for them, every cop is bad, and for others out there every Mexican is a rapists or drug dealer, literally. There’s simply no room for admitting there are good ones among them, too. Those are the ones I was referring to. And yes, I think people with such a mindset are plain stupid. Both sides, indeed.Simple answer? I wouldn’t draw my line there at all. Just because I hate Trump and his followers that doesn’t mean I’m automatically on your side, wherever that actually is on the political spectrum.
