I think it might be best for everyone if Bernie drops out. While he is the front-runner it seems like the divisiveness his campaign is causing is a huge issue for Democrats. They need to present a strong fro against Trump. I mean none of that Iowa stuff would have happened if he wasn't around as the party would have coalesced naturally around one or two consensus moderates (heck they may have been able to hold onto a few more PoC candidates!). The national and international embarrassment that it would have been avoided entirely. Now we have a very close NH primary just over, Neveda and SC are going to be close. There are thousands of Bernie volunteers pouring untold hours into trying to change minds and win the primary. Imagine if they could turn that energy to a single focal point - beating Trump - with one single strong candidate. For Bernie I think he can be happy with having being the driving force behind what has to be the most progressive set of potential presidential agendas ever! Look at how better healthcare, better wages and more opportunities for the average American have taken centre stage in the debates and conversations surrounding the primary. Plus you take Bernie out of the debates and there would be more time to put forward that vision without incessant infighting; not necessarily started by Bernie but certainly his political gravity just naturally causes conflict. MSNBC, CNN and the like would be true allies instead of running segments that are attacks on someone trying to beat Trump. Imagine that - the power of the American media almost entirely behind an effort to put an evil man out of a sacrosanct office. Bernie might be leading now but I strongly believe that he is a net negative for the Democratic party. His support is indeed fanatical but even they will listen to Bernie when he does the right thing and asks them all to carry his revolution onwards behind another candidate. Not me, USA is a snappy way to brand that switch in messaging. Sorry this is long I just needed to get it off my chest! Bern do the right thing buddy!
