Are you always this obtuse? Disliking Epic forcing people onto their half-assed store that clearly wasn’t ready, and disliking crunch on the actual devs doing the work, are not mutually exclusive positions to take. Use some common sense here. If Epic was actually competing, games would be hitting other services. But instead of using the money to improve upon the store and its offerings, Epic is spending money on exclusivity. Crunch isn’t necessary to launch a competent product. Sweeney is just cheaping out on labor, forcing his developers into grueling work weeks for Fortnite and skipping standard features on their storefront altogether. Sweeney is not interested in an actual competition, and he’s definitely not interested in putting money towards easing the burden on his developers, by hiring more. This. Is. Not. Hard. To. See.
