I mean Neogaf got destroyed because of one of those extreme exemple. It was a facebook post about how the owner of the site was a overconfident jerk that entered a shower naked one time because he thought he could. The person who talked about it never wanted to make the name public, she later on said that she didn't want to hurt his career and that he was just an ex that was an asshole. And yet everything around him got destroyed.
Now of course Malka was an asshole and handled the whole situation as poorly as he could so nothing of value was lost. But still, I think it was an exemple of how a MeToo post can become extremely viral and nefast when really it's more a private matter that should be resolved, well, privately.

Ok. I'm a nobody but I finally get to post so time to unload some opinions I've really really wanted to post for over a week. Probably won't see me post too much as I tend to become a wallflower very fast. But enough with that.
I started watching channel awesome at the very very beginning, finding the Nostalgia Critic from the AVGN crossovers. My history with the site has always been a flakey one but it got me through some bad and stressful times in my life and I used to find the Nostalgia Critic very fun, but after Blip sank and the Nostalgia Critic temporarily retired I stopped coming to the site but kept up with as many people as I could find on Youtube. Side Note: Hearing about Justin's death made me quite sad. But yeah it's probably why I never noticed the people who got added after 2013 or 2014. But yeah after the reboot outside of the Commercial Specials the Nostalgia Critic has really lost his charm. Even more so with the recent allegations by people I really like. Heck it actually lead me to discover their twitters and rediscover them.
On the Topic of GamerGate I'm actually fairly neutral. For reason's I shall explain simply being that while I wholeheartedly disagree with their methods, I also think Anita was just whining heavily. I mean I do believe Women should get more starring roles and equality in the industry and games and such, on the flipside I remember the immense struggle my dad had to keep custody of my little sister and I away from our Biological Mother. She, my Biological Mother, couldn't hold a job and could barely take care of herself let alone us, yet it took her parents telling the courts that she wouldn't be a fit mother before Dad finally got us. To add salt to the wound when Dad moved away with Us so She couldn't run away with us for the tenth time and had to leave his old job behind, he discovered what an immense struggle it was to get us foodstamps. And forget about Tanif or Wicks or anything like that. To put it bluntly, I'm an Equalist. If those feminist SJW's really were for Social Justice, then they'd really be for it, Championing not only for Women to get equaler jobs, but also for the Flipside of making it so that Single Parent Dad's have an easier time getting the support they need for raising their kids. Also they'd stop spreading the misbelief that only women can get raped, even if it probably is rarer for men to get raped by a woman, probably because there's such a social Stigma against admitting it. TLDR: Woman should be paid Equal. Men should be elligable for Tanif. And a bunch of other Stuff. Also yes there probably is plenty of Mr. Fanservice in the Video Game Industry. Gamergate was a bad thing but Anita was just a whiner.
One last thing I just thought of: Written History should not be changed when someone changes gender. It is quite important for historical context. Because that was effectively another person before they changed. Or another form. Oral history is free to change however.

I know you’re banned, but I certainly think an artist can be a fine person regardless of what they draw. There’s more than a few good people that can vouch for Shad as a genuinely kind person like super best friends and a lot of the non-shit part of the animation community. I also enjoyed his appearance on the Sleepycabin podcast.
That being said, what he draws is still uncomfortable as well as his continued association with someone like Emily Youcis (an actual Nazi). I don’t know if he realizes how damaging that is in his edgelord bubble if nothing mattering and everything being a punchline. I won’t blame anyone for hating him because of that.
It’s a legal grey area, at least in America. The fact there are legal avenues for actually buying it like Mangagamer tells me that it’s not enforced at all if it actually is illegal.
That being said, Shad drew some suggestive pictures of real little girls including Keemstar’s daughter, who I think would have the legal right to sue him over it and probably win.

Hi guys. I’m new in this forum so bare with me.
I have been going out/dating with a cute girl this past month. Last Sunday was our third time going out and we had a great time. Every time we go out she texted right after I dropped her at her house and the next day so I think that is a good sign that at least she is interested. I’m trying to go really slow because I suck at this.
The other thing I want to mention is that I’m 32 and she is 19. I’m hoping for the best.
If you have proof that not wearing makeup and heels does not actually reduce the likelyhood of being a victim of sexual harassment, I would like to see it.
I didn't say Peterson is expressing sincere concern, I said he is thinking about possible ways of solving the problem. The possibilities of coming up with a solution during an interview against a SJW are below zero, but that kind of thought process, if practiced with a few other intellectuals of different viewpoints, could help make advancements in the right direction.
Also, women don't make dress codes, but if enough people works together, they can be changed anyway we want.
I don't think he believes in women staying at home. But he does believe in women being happier and having a fuller life when they have children.
