Well put! I'm originally from Germany and owning guns is very similar there (or felt similar). Talked to a german hunter and the amount of money and work it takes to get that license is crazy. They also HAVE to shoot silenced. Because a silencer is just a tool to make their work less annoying. And not a crazy safety thread like it would be in the US. I'm playing on Nightmare, having a good time and I still agree with you. In some ways its a bit like what happened with Bloodborne/Sekiro or even Dark Souls 2 where the designers saw how people were playing the game, did not like it and actively build traps/removed options in order to force you into one way of approaching the combat. Hugo Martin talked about how much they hated people just using the SuperShotgun, not moving enough. So this game is a total answer to that way of playing. The rest of the total overflow of unlocks and systems is probably also a fault of the publisher wanting a battle pass. You need XP if you want to keep people engaged! Keep them coming back!

I'm thinking a lot of it is also enemy behavior There is not much the current state of enemy brain can do when you are sniping them from afar. My standard Stealth/Range character can take out everything in the open world without even getting fired on. Their buddies will stand 3m away and not even notice their headless comrades. Yeah, this is one of the reasons I'm checked out a lot. I have trouble really emphasizing with anyone at the moment. Everyone is so one dimensional. Only evil, only cunning etc. It also feels like there is really not much happening and if you would cut each main characters screen time together (especially Bernard) it would end up like they just walked in a cycle, trying to push away the TWIST as long as they can. This season seems like one where it was clear they wanted to build to something bigger in S03 or 04. A boring middle arc.

Yeah same here. Storyboard Pro on the other hand is like drawing underwater but most TV shows are made using it. So you just adapt. Comics, sketches and sometimes thumbnails are all done in Photoshop. I like ClipStudio but there are small things that I'm now so used to doing in PS, that I just can't switch. It also "feels" a bit more sluggish on my machine.

Depends on how you play, what you love about DS. I have real trouble with Sekiro because I suck at parring in DS and always relied on shields instead. I think lots of devs have learned the hard way how tough the "games as a service" model can be on their production. I've followed another game (also free to play) closely that kept running into delays and bled all their players over the following months. Their roadmap was super ambitious and they over sold how meaningful their updates would be. It does not help that a lot of this is led by streamers who by design always have to chase the next thing. They get bored quick and it creates this perception of something stale.

I'm actually thinking the same, but mostly because of the parry system. I was able to beat everything thus far (all of the Souls/BB games) but mostly without ever learning how to parry. This first boss is kinda made for parries, the normal smashing just takes too long and she has 3 health bars. And it makes sense, BB was a direct answer to the Shield and Hide play style that Miyazaki was not a fan of, so this is taking it even more to another extreme.

That bug is amazing. And that hitbox issue is the same reason people where never happy with Quake Champions. They solved it there with different HP / Amor for the different sizes. So Wraith would have 75hp while Gibraltar would have 125. No one was ever happy though. I feel they should mostly ignore the issue here or prop Wraith and Lifeline a little bit more up.

Thanks for the input guys! Yeah, the Candito program is a bit too much for me. Training for more then 3 days a week is tough because I'm old and life in general is pretty demanding. I just felt a bit like I'm wasting my time trying to get to four plates on the squat while I'm not really feeling fit or energetic doing it. Reading what Wendler wrote about "training for older guys", I'm going to focus a bit more on cardio and skip the "joker sets" etc.I'll try this tomorrow! Thanks again!
