Something else to keep in mind is that Spring is starting, so all kinds of pollen and other nasty factors like tree mold can be really high depending on where you are. In Austin, I got wombo-comboed today because oak pollen was high today, tree mold has been high/medium the past few days, and then storms started rolling through, which caused a rapid change in barometric pressure. Not fun. Made me achy, tired, got massive headache, flush... bleh.

Thread Audio Era: Because Sound Matters
Hi everyone. I'm looking to swap out my overly expensive but full of problems Samsung Doly Atmos soundbar and get back to having a receiver with speakers. It's been a very, very long time since I've looked into receivers and speakers, so I'm a tiny bit lost and could use some suggestions. I'd like to keep my budget reasonable. A couple of "must-haves" for the receiver would be:I found a Denon in my price range, but I've never owned a Denon before and don't know much about their quality. In terms of speakers, I have no clue. I know I can't afford reference speakers but would like something of at least "good" quality, as well as have Atmos support, since my current house and space is actually set up well for it. Any help would be great. I'm pretty out of my element when it comes to this stuff.

To be really honest, the issue with "maybe good news, the numbers are looking a bit better?" in the US is that everyone waited too long to lockdown. So you're going to see a dip at lockdown, but in anywhere from 1-3 weeks, you're going to see a pretty big explosion of cases due to the gestation time to become symptomatic. Just something to keep in the forefront of your mind.

Thread "You aren't a game Dev so you don't get to have an opinion on what is or isn't bad game design"
A number of devs have already chimed in, and I honestly don't have too much to add. I'll echo that anyone should feel free, and be able to express their opinions on a game. The problems occur when "bad design" is the criticism when "bad design" is used as a subjective opinion for "I don't like this." This is compounded by criticism actually being difficult, even for people in the industry. One of the greatest skills a designer has to develop is the ability to understand what someone is saying, without listening to the words they are using to say it. There have been some examples of this given in the thread, but one of my own personal anecdotes wasn't even from an external playtest and was instead from a junior engineer I was working with on a mission. He came to me one day and said, "So when the players get over this bridge, I really think it'd be awesome if a tank rolled over this shack, and then a helicopter came in and dropped off reinforcements. Then some mortars are launched, forcing the players to take cover." I took all this feedback and mulled it over. None of it fit into the intent of the mission, which was to be more of an infiltration beat for the players, where they got the drop on the enemy, not the other way around. However, what he was ASKING for wasn't the tank. It wasn't the helicopter or mortars. He was saying that the mission wasn't exciting enough. So I used completely different tricks to ratchet the intensity of the mission while ensuring the intent of the mission itself wasn't lost. After the next playtest, he came to me and said, "That is exactly what I wanted!" But it wasn't any of the exacts he asked for. That is just one example of something I honestly have to do daily, be it with other devs or with playtest feedback. It's why was right with his short but sweet reply on page one.

Thread Tabletop RPG |OT| I cast a spell
Well, you mention The Hunt Club as being something you want to introduce for them to actually go after and that having four targets is enough for a good number of sessions alone. As to how to get them on that track, there is one option that kind of sticks out to me. You have Hatley the Dwarf as a pawn to use in any way you see fit, and you have the players in a dungeon that they don't know much about. Is there any way that Hatley can tie into the Hunt Club, like, in doing what he did he kind of fucked something up, and therefore he's been put in that dungeon as a mark by the four? It's a clear target the players would be interested in, but if he has been double-crossed by the Hunt Club, he becomes an asset worth keeping alive. I do think that you need to maybe have one of the four Hunt Club members down there hunting Hatley (maybe unbeknownst to the other three) and if he escapes, he has to explain to the other three what happened, which puts them in direct conflict with the players, OR if the players do manage to kill him, it puts the other three in direct conflict with the players. Hatley becomes a good resource for telling them they have to get actual proof on the four (or three.) Of course, the crux is making sure they just don't kill Hatley.

Thread Anyone here ever have a NICU baby?
Congrats on the new baby! Our third child, who is 3.5 now, was six weeks early and was in the NICU for 27 days. Ours was because my wife suffers from various auto-immune disorders, and the doctors were worried she was literally going to die and were like, "Time to get the baby out, he'll be fine." It was a long 27 days. Looking back, I'm not sure if this was helpful, but each child in the NICU had their own webcam stream at the hospital we were in, so we could log in and see him. The downside was the panic-induced moments when he wasn't in his crib when he should have been. No matter how many times it just ended up being that they were a bit off-schedule with changing/feeding, the brain always went to OH GOD WHAT HAS HAPPENED?! place. We'd also get updates twice a day from the NICU nurses over the phone. He had a random fever spike accompanied by a small brain bleed a week in, but it turned out to be something that can actually be pretty normal. His biggest issue preventing him from coming home was learning to eat. He's totally fine now, the most energetic of our kids at his age, and my gaming buddy. The NICU nurses were amazingly great.

Netdecked the barrier Fiora deck because I could, and it's so matchup dependent that it isn't really that fun to play. I mean, yes, I've gotten a few OTK wins with Fiora's ability, but that novelty has worn off, and honestly the rest of the deck is competent but not great. The creatures to spells ratio feels off, it's lacking at the low cost end in terms of creatures for sure, and it feels like it doesn't have good answers to a good number of matchups. I did throw a few Detains in there, which definitely helped. I will say that I do appreciate that the deck has made me think outside the box a few times. re: Shadow Isles Honestly, what I'm starting to realize after getting continually walloped by SI is that they have very little downside. They're creature spread is wide, and their spells are answers to nearly everything, since board state is incredibly important. It's almost to the point where if they have Hecarim as a champ and 2 drop a Shark Chariot, I'm going to surrender. It's one thing to have a bad match up, but I've run up against that mist caller/ephemeral combo numerous times while playing different decks and my W-L record against it is real bad no matter what I'm running.

Thread GAMEXPLAIN SOURCES: Platinumgames will launch a kickstarter to fund Switch/PS4 ports of The Wonderful 101
If this ends up being true, then this is how I see it. 1) For the people that keep mentioning the Tencent money, stop. Companies don't just walk up to studios and give them money without contracts about said money being used in specific ways. 2) If, and this is the biggest if, Platinum got the IP back from Nintendo, they managed to get it cheap using their own, not Tencent's money. I could see some weird scenario where it was part of the deal for doing Bayonetta 3, but I highly doubt that. 3) The KS goal will be for funding a pretty small internal team for around a year. I'd imagine the target would be somewhere in the ballpark of 300-350k. Maaaaaybe 500k. Considering there are boardgames that routinely make millions on KS, I could see this working for them. It's a known commodity. Platinum has a solid fanbase, and many of them never got to play this.

Abso-fucking-lutely. I didn't like Us quite as much as Get Out, but Lupita was incredible and one of the few performances that resonated with me. Nevermind the fact that she plays TWO FUCKING CHARACTERS in the film to near perfection. And Todd Phillips, really? Seriously? GTFO.

Thread 1917 has to be the most Oscar bait film of 2019
Absolutely loved it. Yes, the plot was razor-thin, but the simple premise carried through with the craft displayed here was nothing short of incredible. Performances were great all around. Definitely teared up more than once. I personally didn't have a problem with any of the actions taken by anyone. They were young, under immense amounts of stress, and I felt they always acted in a way that helped either establish or further their character. Rationality gets thrown out the window when you have people that aren't exactly trained with the same level of tactical skill that they are today, or even were for WWII. WWI was a meat grinder; a completely soul-crushing war that existed in gaining mere inches for most of it. That's why Scofield is terrified of even leaving their own frontline trench until nightfall at the beginning. No man's land was called that for a reason. The thought of crossing less than a football field was a harrowing prospect, and that's the type of mental pressure that wears at the psyche. People make mistakes, it's human. We sometimes act irrationally in the heat of the moment because of who we are, even if the intentions are good.

So I successfully turned my old router into a second wifi network that my Quest connects to. It wasn't too difficult, either. The packs were short shipped to get some out before Christmas. Hopefully fresh stock comes in soon, but with Chinese New Year coming up, it may be awhile. As for interest, the game seems to be doing very well. All of the game stores in my area continually sold their stock quickly. I think it has a good future ahead of it, and distancing it from AHLCG in terms of design was smart, despite both being co-op LCG games. I really need to order a box organizer. How the hell FFG manages to make a box insert that cards in their own fricking sleeves don't fit into well is mindboggling.

I worked retail for Staples, EBGames, and Blockbuster in the late 90s and early 00s. I just meant "not too bad" relative to things I've had happen to me, such as the cockroach-infested PS1 someone tried to trade in. This one is fair, and quite terrible. I just didn't take 'constantly' away from the post. It sounded like it happened a few times, which is still too many, but not like once a week. Maybe I read it wrong, but I took the "it's very common" as part of the preceding statement, not the entire section that discussed this.

I'd actually thrown something into my Quote queue from to reinforce a point of theirs from yesterday, then I just continued to read the thread and all is lost because we've reached the "Don't criticize this for being messy shlock because it's what I want and don't you dare ever do anything else interesting in the mainline series" point of the conversation, along with TLJ having closed all the doors despite people being able to say that doors were closed except man they really closed them argument. They could have gone anywhere. They could have done anything. By the end of TLJ: - Anyone can be a hero, no matter where they're from! - Luke actually embraced the myth of who people thought he was in order to buy what remained of the Resistance time to escape - Therefore, the Resistance is still alive and can fight back! People from everywhere hear this story! - Kylo Ren is a monster! He's evil! Can he be redeemed? Maybe! But that's gonna be hard to do! This could be years after TLJ. A decade, even! The Resistance could have grown based on what Luke did and how that story spread. It also would have been valid for it to be sooner, and the Resistance is small but that spark is helping them grow! Other force-sensitive people aren't afraid to come out of hiding. That could be for both sides, even! Like, I could sit here listing possibilities for hours and they'd be valid. And to be fair, yes, the direction they went with RoS is a valid place to have gone. It's just one of the least inspired and uninteresting ways to have gone with it. Yes, I want to demand better from my entertainment, especially in a day and age where I get more cohesive and coherent throughlines for a plot from fucking cartoons. As someone already pointed out, the OT was not schlocky entertainment at the time. It's easy to go, "well it was obviously inspired by spaghetti westerns and Japanese filmmakers" now, when back in the late 70s that wasn't the case and it's actually a disservice to the craft that Lucas studied and brought to the mainstream. It wasn't the norm. And it definitely wasn't schlock.

Thread Am I overreacting to this gift-giving habit of my sister?
You opening the Texans hat: But really, you should have a serious heart-to-heart talk with her. It's obviously something that bothers you, and it should. The value isn't in the reciprocal monetary amount, but in the thought behind the gifts, which is how it should be. I'd be honest and say that it isn't about the cost of the gifts, but the lack of thought that goes into them. And also say that you understand that she has to think about what to get her kids and husband. Maybe even say that you'll continue giving your thoughtful presents because that seems to mean a lot to you and that it might be better if she just doesn't need to think about getting you something if the effort isn't going to be there. Not as a slight or insult against her, but there would be less damage to your relationship over time that way. Question, do you know how much effort she put into picking out gifts for her husband? Some people are just really bad at knowing what to buy someone. I get that you specifically asked for gummy bears this year, but maybe that felt too much like a joke? I dunno. If I don't have a list, it's actually pretty hard for my wife to pick out things because she's incredibly practical and I also tend to buy a lot of what I want myself. Meanwhile, I'll do things like make a Baby Yoda out of Model Magic since she wanted a Baby Yoda and there wasn't any merchandise available yet. My art skills are horrendous, so it looks like a third-grade art project, but she loved it. And I know the reason I do silly but sentimental stuff like that is that my brain is wired differently. You don't know how all people feel my dude. Some of the greatest gifts for people that have lost someone they love are reminders of them.

At some point in recent history, the way this is viewed has changed, though, with the "0" being viewed as the beginning of that period, whether it century or decade. I'm not a historian, but my guess it's either 1900 or 2000, and if 2000, then in the cultural zeitgeist, it retroactively applied to the 1900's. Like, I was born in 1980, and have never been considered to have been born in the 70s. Out of billions of humans, I'd venture to guess a fraction of a percent would consider 2000 as part of the 1990's. I get what you're saying, but it's not how it's commonly viewed now. Thread 'Wargroove' Dev Responds to Criticism for Casting White Actors to Portray Characters of Color
Being intimately familiar with the process of voice casting in AAA games, if I take them at their word, I can chalk it up to an indie dev mistake in not researching after getting samples. To be fair, I do think that's the case. If you're not a SAGAFTRA project, you're probably using one of the many sites where you just put up a casting call, get samples and listen, then choose from those. Those sites generally handle everything, so most times there is little direct interfacing with your VA's. You upload the script; they receive it, record their lines, and send it back. All through a website. Compare that to what I've been through, it's a much more rigorous process. Very specific up front about what we're looking for in terms of nationality, race, sex, etc. Work with a company that actually filters the auditions. Pull up information on everyone we get an audition from to see if they match our criteria. Actually go out to the recording sessions with the actors. Like I said, it's in-depth. This isn't to excuse not researching who you're choosing, but I can understand how a smaller team many not even think about it.

Thread Please give me the ELI5 for game engines
ELI5 version: A game engine is the backbone of a game. Sometimes it comes with a robust set of tools that make certain pieces of development easier. Sometimes it does not. Sometimes it is proprietary, meaning it is built by the team for a specific game, and other times teams use an "off the shelf" solution that already solves some of the basic functionality you need to make a game, such as rendering, networking, input, and debugging. They do not usually come with the art assets required to make a game, and those have to be created or purchased. The same goes for the majority of the game-specific interactions a team wants to do. Unreal and Unity are two of the largest off the shelf solutions, with CryEngine/Lumberyard a distant 3rd. Bigger proprietary engines include Frostbite and Anvil(whatever it's called now), which EA and Ubi respectfully use across multiple teams/games, but they are 1st party proprietary engines. This makes zero sense, though. I was specifically talking about the case of you offering to host, and only allow it then. You can't say "It feels like they're too young." while still allowing it. You're essentially calling other parents bad parents in that case, because they have the audacity to allow it, and you're the only logical one in your mind.Yes, there is shitty parenting. I'll admit we've been incredibly liberal with our kids in terms of being open and honest, allowing them space to actually curse without ramifications (not the 3yo, lol), having actual real conversations about sex when each of our older ones turned 13. Some people would say that's "shitty parenting." Our 13yo identifies as gender fluid and asexual, and we support them. For some? Shitty parenting. Our 18yo is on the autism spectrum, so there were times when he was younger when we were in a store and he'd have a fit about something. As parents, we knew the only way to let him calm down fastest was to just let him work through it. I'm sure some people, who had absolutely zero insight as to what was going on or our situation, thought we were "shitty parents." Maybe a parent yells at their kid when they're in line to see Santa Claus because the kid is acting out, and someone thinks that is shitty parenting. True shitty parenting is abusive behavior whenever a kid makes a minor infraction that in no way requires discipline, and ignoring the child most other times, all stemming from a parent seeing their child as an inconvenience rather than a treasure. That's actual shitty parenting. Having been a parent for 18 years, and having lived in the Midwest, West Coast, East Coast, and now Texas during that time, the number of actual shitty parents is far less than the number of parents that love and cherish their children.

I have three, aged 18, 13, and 3, so I've been through it. But you have to learn to trust other parents, especially those of your child's friends. Thread Modders are already adding cut Pokémon in Sword and Shield with surprising ease
That's great. But the community doesn't have a fixed schedule or a budget they have to stay within. People throw around the "Company of 400 people" without understanding the breakdown of dev team. I've actually worked on a game with multiple characters that players can choose from. They were more complicated than Pokemon, for sure, but start to finish a single character was about three full actual dev months, spanning over at least six people's time. Was it simultaneous work? No. Did people just twiddle their thumbs while others did work? Of course not. But there is lots of back and forth iteration that is involved, so it can't just be a perfect assembly line. This is why all of these arguments fall apart for me. A single person doesn't work on the entirety of a Pokemon. There is the initial concept piece, the modeler, the animator, the sound designer, the actual designer. There are sign-offs from directors that have to occur, and they're signing off on more than just Pokemon. This takes time, too. Velocity in game dev is entirely about a chain of dependencies that most people in this thread have absolutely zero concept of, which is why, as a dev, these threads become a bit infuriating. Yeah, yeah, I know...just don't go into them then or whatever. Sigh.

I just finished it. I really wanted to love it, but by the end, I was getting a bit tired. Was ultimately just alright for me, everything considered. I really do hope there is a sequel that fixes some of the issues I had. 1) Was not a fan of the itemization or upgrading. It felt very barebones. 2) The companions were too far into the background for me to really establish a bond or care about them. Parvati was the only exception to this, and yes I did switch out and make different groups often. I wanted to hear their opinions more during conversations or big decisions. 3) This is entirely personal preference, but I really miss a sense of exploration due to the smaller spaces here. It all feels very compartmentalized. There were some other problems I had, but those were the major ones for me. Nothing that couldn't be addressed in a sequel.

Played Arkham Horror: Final Hour last night. I can see why its divisive. The Arkham games are all known for the narrative they tell, but this is a very different beast. It's more an abstract deduction/puzzle game that is themed Arkham Horror. It definitely doesn't carry the narrative other games in the line do. However, I had a whole lot of fun with it. It still carries the feeling of dread and always being on the brink of losing that you get from Arkham games. We lost, but it was pretty close. The "silent" nature in which you play your turn is one of the more thematically appropriate elements, seeing as the investigators are working together, but they're largely scattered as its pure chaos with them all trying to undo the ritual. So again, I understand why it would be a curveball for some coming from other games in the series. However, it's nice for me because I love the theme and welcome something different.

That's driven almost three full pages of replies that are already trending towards the sides of, "I knew it'd suck and this is my validation!" and, "Well they wouldn't like it anyway." Not outright, mind you, but it's there. We apparently can't even save that for review threads anymore. I'm looking forward to giving it a go. I wouldn't say excited is the right word for how I feel, but intrigued for sure. My tastes are fluid, and sometimes I'll come back to a game that originally didn't click with me and it magically will just due to what I'm looking for at ge time. For instance, I bounced hard off of The Witcher 3 twice before really getting into it. Same with RDR2.

While my 13yo will totally play a heavy tabletop minis game with me, that isn't something their friends will try. The IPs available for Funkoverse, and the easy to learn gameplay really fit the bill. Even for being on the simpler side, the way they handle skills and cooldowns is really great and pretty compelling if I'm being honest. Thread Will we see a new Diablo game at this years Blizzcon?
I'll keep saying that they are going to release Diablo Immortal into "open beta" during the opening ceremonies and that they'll have, at the bare minimum, a teaser for Diablo 4 during this BlizzCon. When I say teaser, I mean it could be as small as a voiced over logo reveal, with a "Coming Q4 2020" and a "sign up for the alpha" website. I know that it's normal Blizzard M.O. to not reveal much until they can go a bit in-depth with whatever is being revealed, but we need to remember that this is the first BlizzCon since Activision seems to have taken a harder stance with the company. Activision seems to be much more concerned with them releasing more games, more often, so the culture of "take as much time as we need" has been thrown out the window. They don't want to take a hit, share-wise, and lack of news for key franchises can cause that. Even though it won't release in this fiscal year, confidence that it is right around the corner will "help" with that. Or something.

I don't get that read at all. The game isn't trying to be all "but actually!" and instead is allowing players to make bad decisions that will ultimately affect not only how their character sees the world, but how the world also reacts to them. It's mentioned multiple times that the actions do have consequences with what is/isn't available to you in the world in terms of access, both people and dialog, based on how you've chosen to progress the mentality of the character. It doesn't even seem like it will be "both sides-ing" any of these issues.

Played "I Am the Fourth Wall" and "Cartographers" tonight. I think there is potential in "I Am the Fourth Wall" but having the rules split over three different books was a terrible decision. It's an Arkham Horror-like card game, that can be played as one versus all, or co-op versus AI. It's asymmetrical when played 1vAll, so they decided to have a rulebook for the investigators, a rulebook for The Wall (the ancient one), and then another one for when you play co-op. This results in looking in all three books when playing co-op since it uses rules from each of the other two. Was pretty frustrating for that. We won pretty easily against the AI, but will try it again as 1vAll. Cartographers is still great. My wife walloped the 13yo and me this time. It's going to get a lot of play. It's so easy to set up, teach, and play, and is very fun with great replayability. Also played Unmatched for the second time yesterday. It's great, but I'm 0-2. Lost as King Arthur to Bruce Lee on Friday, then as Sinbad to Alice yesterday. I'm not really looking at the characters to get a feel for how they're supposed to play before playing, so that isn't helping, but I'm still having fun.

Ok, I've been thinking about how you create forward-moving tension in a paradigm where you have infinite lives. Sure, there are lots of small ways to have tension on an in the moment basis. The tension between mutants and humans will still exist and certainly be a plot point. But ultimately, where does it go? I have this very strong suspicion that we'll find that out in PoX #6. We'll know this all ends in disaster. We'll get a brief glance of how. We won't know exactly how it gets there... but we'll witness it, like a trainwreck in slow motion over the course of the next year or so of books.

Hey all, I've been measuring my progress for the past 60 days (started on my 39th birthday), and I've gone from 275 to 254. This has been entirely calorie counting and making sure I'm drinking lots of water (something I'd previously neglected.) It's been nice, because I still eat things I want, just less of them and far less of the time. It's mainly been about training my body that I don't need to eat as much as I was. Need to start hitting the gym now, I think. I know that measuring daily is a fools errand, but it helps me see what works and what doesn't over the span of a few days. The past week, I've been hovering between 253-254, so I'm pretty sure I'm nearing my plateau without actually exercising.

OK, here is what is apparently happening. The way their store works, when you order, it checks the total number you are ordering against the total number available. If you put in, say, 5000, then it will decrease that number to the total inventory available. It temporarily holds that number based on that cart, no matter if it is over the number you are actually limited to. People have been using this method to see how many copies are left in stock (currently around 300) and sometimes you can catch the site when it thinks all of them are being held.

I'm really enjoying it so far, though. I think the add phases in the boss fights are fine. They should generally be dying very quickly and mostly acting as ammo droppers. I don't find four abilities each to be a problem. The design philosophy here isn't "make each character the way you want" it's "each character is unique and you should play lots of them to get variety."

Thread Super Mario Maker 2 |OT| Make Your Own Witty OT Title | see threadmarks
I know I'm going to ask questions that have been answered in this thread, but there are also over 7k replies. I'm going on a trip next week, and my flight is going to be the first chance I get to actually dig into the game. Is it worth probably just going through the story mode first during that time? Is there a list of top-tier levels somewhere that I should download to play? For creation, did we ever settle on a good stylus from Amazon for handheld creation mode?

Thread Nintendo Switch Lite revealed for $199 - Launches September 20th (has a D-Pad, has gyro, no HD Rumble, no dock/TV output)
I don't see the benefit of getting one myself as I already have a Switch. Considerably less functionality for only $100 less than the regular Switch. I'm sure it will sell well, but I'm slightly confused by it if I'm being honest.

Thread So what's the better MMO these days? WoW or FFXIV?
I'd like to know how far those complaining about the GCD in FFXIV actually got. I have almost all of the combat jobs to 60, and I don't think there is one that I feel like I'm standing around waiting for the GCD to finish before having something else to do with all of the other actions that unlocked by that point. Yeah, up to 50 the GCD feels long, especially if you're coming from WoW as you don't have a lot of other things to do, but skills post-50, plus the dungeon fights beginning to require much greater attention to avoidance/movement starting in HWS meant I never paid much attention to it how long it was after that.

Exactly. You should never make a sea creature while on drugs. You end up with the hammerhead.

Thread TIME: "You Asked: How Often Should I Shower?"
Yeah, when people here in Austin are like, "It's so humid" I realize they've never lived somewhere that's where an actual swamp is. I grew up in the middle of South Carolina, and also lived 6 years in central Illinois. Austin "humidity" has nothing on either of those.

Thread Can we agree that California in general is home to the worst drivers on the planet
On the planet? Probably not. In the US, eh, I'd say LA is second or third. Having lived all over the country, Austin drivers are literally some of the most insane I've ever experienced. My rule of thumb since moving here is to expect everyone to do the dumbest thing they possibly could in a situation involving driving as a life preservation method. Like, it's stupid stuff you've seen anywhere else, but amplified in occurrence by a factor of infinity. Part of it is that Texas is like "hell yeah the speed limit on this is 80" to which people go "obviously that means 90." Drivers here also lose their minds way more in rain than I ever experienced during my time in SoCal. SoCal was largely just massively congested a majority of the time. Yeah you got cut off a lot, but it was generally at speeds that just made it annoying. Atlanta would probably be my actual 2nd... 285 is a white-knuckle experience like no other. Everyone thinks they're in a NASCAR race all the times on that thing. Whew.

I'm super excited for this movie. My mom decided she is coming into town for the week of the 4th among with my sister, and I was like, "Cool. The wife and I are seeing Spider-man on the 2nd. You'll both have to stay home with the kids that night." I don't even feel bad. Also, I'm very shocked at the turn this thread took.
