I believe I'm on Chapter 3 or 4 right now and it's mixed between him talking about his earlier works and how his company started up. I hope the chapters that talk about Civilization and Pirates will get more in-depth with the design choices he made and all that.

This is a hard one, but I might give it to Rare since they had a variety of games that I enjoyed a lot as an N64 player. I enjoy Square's games as well, but mostly Final Fantasy and Chrono Cross.

Retro shooters are in demand again and I think a lot of people would be interested in playing that version of DNF.

Not getting the best performance in VR, but I'm enjoying the game so far. $40 is the sweet spot for this game in terms of pricing. It would also be great to see some Clone Wars stuff but I'm assuming that would be saved for a sequel (if the game is profitable enough).

Thread LTTP: Ghost of Tsushima
I was in the same boat as you. I bought the game at launch and thought it was visually stunning, but everything else just felt average to me. I also couldn't get into the combat since I was playing the game at 4k/30fps, but I heard there was rumors of a PS5 upgrade so I decided to hold off on this game till that system came out, which I'm glad I did. The game feels almost completely different at 4k/60fps in a good way. I'm now doing a lot better in combat since I can actually tell what types of attacks the enemies are doing, plus the world design really shines when you see wind blow the trees and grass around in that silky smooth frame rate.

A FedEx mishap happened to me last week. I ordered a PS5 for my friend through Target and they said it was delivered to my home. Thread PlayStation 5 |OT| Play Has No Limits
Quick impressions, maybe spent around 2 hours today with it. It's a big machine for sure. PS5 interface is really seamless once you get used to it. Astro's Playroom is a great way to demo the DualSense controller. Demon's Souls looks and plays fantastic. Spider-Man: Miles Morales is fun and looks great. Looking forward to playing more this weekend. To be honest, I think most of my hype was the anticipation of a new console generation, because once I finally played PS5 the novelty factor wore off a bit. I'm sure once actual next-gen games come out I'll be more impressed with these new systems.

Yeah I'm in the US region and bought it from a local Best Buy over a year ago. I contacted customer support and they remote accessed my TV, tried to update on their end and it still brought up the same error. Eventually the representative told me "From my end it is showing that the TV already has latest firmware version so we cannot update it further." On the hype scale I'm at about an 8/10. Thread Sea of Thieves |OT2| The Golden Era of Piracy
I've been playing Sea of Thieves off-and-on again over the past couple years and have enjoyed it a lot. However, an idea came to me while playing one day, what about a haunted island? For example, it's a questline that starts off as a typical buried treasure quest, but when you see the marked island it is covered in a thick, ominous layer of fog. Once you land on the island with your crew you look on the map for the buried treasure but, as you gradually go further into the island, the map layout and X changes each time you pull up your chart and eventually a riddle appears instead. If you decide to head back to your ship you find it has mysteriously vanished, so you get the impression that you're either lost or the island is keeping you there until you figure out what's going on. I'm assuming this idea has been thrown around before, I'm mostly basing it off my love of the Silent Hill series and spooky ghost stories, it would be a great Halloween update for sure. What do you all think about it?
