I just spent almost $200 on a GBA, an IPS panel, and a LiPo battery, so this is looking like an absolute

That's great to hear! We put a bunch of work into the hammer for the Sharpen Your Skills update. Between now and open beta, we'll be revisiting the other weapons and giving them similar treatments.

Thread The Playstation Classic has reached a point now that it's a greater (and simpler) emubox than the Raspberry Pi.
Is it worth messing with if I've already got a PlayStation TV?

I started getting a weird camera transition bug the other day - During the transition to the (classic) battle camera, I get a still frame of the MC standing at where they were when I loaded into the current area. Has anybody else seen this? I've got Special K & the orchestral mods active.

My 2080 Ti arrived last night, and DQXI was one of the few games I had installed that would possibly benefit from an upgrade from my 1080: Still couldn't hold 60fps in Gondolia at 4k. Oh well.

You can eliminate most of the torque dip with a good tune. Add a header like that, and you'll be up around 190-200 at the wheels, depending. A catless UEL with a catless front pipe and the N1 is going to be pretty damn loud, if that's what you're after.

Depends a little bit on your application, but JDL has incredible build quality and Gruppe-S/Tomei often make the most power. I'm running JDL on my supercharged setup, and could make 8-10 more HP with a Gruppe-S.

MPG for sure, haha. But it's only been about a month, and it'll improve as the ECU relearns. Other than that, no real downsides to speak of. I'm pretty near the limits of the stock clutch, and all of a sudden 255 width Super Sports don't feel like enough tire, but those are good problems as far as I'm concerned. It's smooth and drives like stock if I want it to. It's just a ton more usable power everywhere.

Thread TV Displays and Tech Thread |OT2| There Is No Perfect TV ™ (Read The OP)
I finally jumped in this weekend with a 65" X900F, and a X700 player. I'm still messing around with some settings, but I'm pretty damn happy with things thus far. Big thanks to everyone who posts here. Between assessing LED vs. OLED for your setup/use cases, and to a lesser extent, understanding the competing HDR formats, it's harder than ever to get straight answers and real info.

Oh awesome, thanks for digging into it. I'm definitely not one to argue the approaches, I'm just fairly new to this and trying to seek understanding.

I just noticed that most TVs don't seem to support 1440p natively. Those of you who do a ton of PC gaming on your LG & Samsung sets, what's your experience been like? I'm buying a set primarily for living room PC gaming, and my GTX 1080 definitely won't be pushing 4K60 on everything. I was planning on running 1440p/60 for most things, but that doesn't seem possible with a LG OLED? I haven't been able to find a ton of anecdotal experience with this kind of setup/situation. It looks like the X900F is my best bet if native 1440p/60hz matters?

How does OLED retention compare to plasma? I've had a Panasonic plasma for 10 years with no retention issues whatsoever. Just required the slightest diligence around static images. I figure if I treat the OLED the same way it'll be just fine.

Awesome, good to hear it. I do have a PS4 Pro, and I'll be picking up a UHD bluray player, but most of my gaming is on PC. Very little desktop time for me, too. I currently have all of my inputs going into my receiver, and then just the one HDMI from that going into my TV. No handshake issues on my 1080p set, but like you said, it's probably highly setup dependent.

Are any of you OLED folks using a HTPC as your primary device? How's that working out for you? I'm just about to pull the trigger on a B7, but I realized that 75% of my gaming/media usage is through the PC in my living room. Aside from being diligent with burn-in/static images, are there any other weird things I should look out for?
