I mean, they most likely would have won last season without the lockdown splitting the season end off; the Champions League Real Madrid came out because they were likely treating the home stretch like a knockout competition mentally. Also, one of my favourite scenes in the final series is when a younger character calls out Jeremy for his 'Gen-X slacker bullshit' - he lives his lifestyle out of laziness and attachment to the aesthetic of the struggling artist despite being constantly bailed out financially by Mark and his mother and having no perceptible musical talent.
