Yes I'm mostly just curious as to what their solution is, because an SSD (or two if you add a 2nd) that can run at that speed on PC right now is both very expensive and runs extremely hot. I doubt they'd be going down this road without a good solution already at hand and I'm dying to see it. They made it clear in the presentation that they are "targeting 5 GB/s (at least)" in the slide, which is going to be incredible in a console form factor.

Expected to be, eventually. They still didn't clearly state when they would all work and that 100 or so are expected to be ready by launch. This is the same thing that we already knew. Their BC isn't everything day 1, it's upwards of 100 games at launch and then we don't know how long before the rest.
" We’re currently evaluating games on a title-by-title basis to spot any issues that need adjustment from the original software developers." Not just a plug and play solution unfortunately.

So the PS5 has a lower BoM but is also more powerful in the GPU and has a better SSD, and somehow keeps that all cool in a slimmer form factor with higher cooling cost? (while still being a cheaper BoM through every party of it being better) Sounds great!
GamingThreadIn my opinion, Halo Infinite has great chances at being Microsoft's Breath of the Wild.

Only if I get to see Master Chief full on torturing and eviscerating many covenant after giving his best bud Fred a big old tongue kiss then how can it be better than the torture porn that is TLOU2?!?!?!
