The Xbox evangelism on this forum has gotten pretty nuts over the last 4-5 months. I’m glad you folks are enjoying what your console of choice offers, but every time I visit the gaming side, I feel like I’m being smacked in the face with same “Gamepass is awesome!” “Backwards compatibility is awesome!” “Are arrogant Sony/Nintendo in trouble?” threads on a weekly (or sometimes daily) basis. It’s getting exhausting.

No, but neither is letting "s/he" roll off your back. No one anywhere uses that word as an attack or way to demean somebody else. I'll use they sometimes, I'll use s/he other times. There's no ill intent behind any of it, it's just whatever pops into my head at that particular moment and no more thought goes into it. I usually avoid the issue outright by just referring to the person by their name.
